Formec S.r.l. was founded in the municipality of Altavilla Irpina in 2002 by young entrepreneurs, with a clear mission: to build excellence through the design and production of industrial metalwork components and customized systems in Italy and abroad. The years that followed were a succession of challenges, investments, and innovations. Thanks to a team of passionate professionals and a boundless entrepreneurial spirit, the company consolidated its reputation in Central America, North Africa, and Asia as a reliable partner for businesses operating in the tourism real estate, mechanical engineering, and photovoltaic systems sectors.
Our Core Strengths are Leveraging advanced design softwares, laser cutting, punching, robotic welding, and premium finishes. Our skilled workforce turns ideas into tailored tangible realities. Evolution and Expansion
In 2014, Formec launched Formec Strutture S.r.l., a dedicated division for industrial structures, enhancing specialization, precision, and delivery speed while expanding into infrastructure, logistics, and construction markets.
In early 2025, Formec Strutture advanced further by leasing—with an option to purchase—the Business Unit of Mecoser Sistemi S.p.A., a leader in high-quality customized containers. This integration merged modular, structural, and containerized solutions, bolstering competitiveness in high-demand sectors.
